It’s said that being a Christian comes down to being with Jesus, becoming like him, and doing what he did – or rather, doing what he would if he were you. 

But that’s easier said than done.

How do we live distinctively Christlike lives in the places where God has put us – in offices, building sites, sports clubs, nurseries, homes, shops, and beyond? How do we engage with the culture around us there wisely and lovingly, speaking truth and bringing peace, just like Jesus did in his own place and time?

This small group course will help you explore exactly those questions. Together, you’ll listen to the culture you’re in, recognising what’s going on under the surface, and then work out how you can respond in your day-to-day life. It might be in the way you write your emails, the extra time you give to struggling clients, the stand you take against banter that’s become too cruel – or something else.

Wherever you find yourself in the week, it’s time to reimagine the impact you could have there. Because in the power of the Spirit, we can all be wise peacemakers, right where we are.

Who is this course for? 

This course is for anyone who wants to make a difference with Jesus in daily life. Although content is tailored to those aged 18–35, it translates across generations, however old you are!

What do I need to run it? 

Your laptop or phone, or perhaps a bigger screen if there are more of you. Everything else you need is on the session webpages.

How do the sessions work?  

Each hour-long session starts with a 10-minute video from our presenters, introducing some key concepts for discussion. Then you’ll get into the Bible, and also try some helpful spiritual practices.
