In a nutshell

Whole-life discipleship is not good at competing for attention. It
needs champions in leaders’ meetings to regularly remind us of its
importance and bring a whole-life discipleship perspective to the
activities, initiatives, and teaching being considered.

The points raised in this chapter may particularly apply to an
overall church leadership team, but they’re also absolutely relevant
for teams that lead specific aspects or ministries in the church, like
sung worship, small groups, prayer ministry, or community work.
