Imagine Church Envisioning Days

Join members of the LICC team as we share what we’ve learnt about how to create a whole-life disciplemaking church and help you identify next steps for your context.

Put simply, ‘whole-life disciplemaking’ means equipping Christians to join in with what God’s doing in every part of their lives – at work, at home, in hobbies, pubs, clubs, and beyond. Because his mission goes far beyond our church-organised programmes, into the whole world. And so do our people.

Imagine Church Envisioning Days are held regularly online, and are designed for anyone in any kind of church leadership, including:

  • Senior leaders, pastors, ministers, and vicars
  • Associate leaders and pastors, curates, readers, lay readers, and lay leaders
  • Preachers and teachers, small group leaders, pastoral care leaders, and worship leaders
  • Disciplemakers and those in one-to-one disciplemaking relationships

Through the day we will:

  • Explore the biblical vision for whole-life disciplemaking
  • Share principles, practices, and processes to make whole-life disciplemaking possible
  • Illustrate with case studies and examples
  • Help clarify a framework and next steps for creating a whole-life disciplemaking culture in your church

Sample programme:

09.45: Registration

10.00 A vision for whole-life disciplemaking

11.15 Refreshment break

11.30: From vision to reality

12.30 Interview with church leaders

13.00: Lunch break

14.00: The journey towards whole-life disciplemaking

15.00: Finish

‘We found it really helpful in clarifying and focusing on our mission. The fact that there are so many stories coming out from so many different places about the difference that this approach makes shows how authentic it is; it really does work! Programs come and go, but this is about changing the DNA of the church.’

Paul, Church Leader
