This is one of the most exciting moments in LICC’s history. Under our new Chief Executive, we are seeking to significantly increase our reach, depth, and impact.

At this time of opportunity, we’re seeking three new Trustees to join our Board, including a Treasurer. These volunteer Trustee posts are a great opportunity to be an advocate for LICC and help shape our strategic direction and impact, as well as contributing to good governance.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about LICC’s whole-life disciplemaking mission to grow fruitful followers of Jesus Christ.  We need Christians who are committed to integrating the gospel with all of life and actively involved in a local church. You’ll be prayerful, generous, relationally intelligent, open to new ideas, and a team player.

To complement the balance of our existing Board, we are looking for people of different ages and stages in their life and professional experience, and from different denominations and networks, ethnic backgrounds, and parts of the UK. Candidates should be willing to dedicate some of their time to LICC on a regular basis for a minimum three-year term.

For more information about the Trustee and Treasurer roles, please download the information packs below. Please note that the Treasurer role includes the same duties as other Trustees, with additional financial governance responsibilities.

How to apply

To express an interest in the role, please email the following to Nigel Hall, Board Secretary, at nigel.hall@licc.org.uk by 17:00 on 30 November:

  • A full CV and covering letter outlining your motivation, relevant skills, and experience for the Trustee or Treasurer role
  • Details of three referees – one personal, one professional, and one from your church pastor/minister

If you have any further questions, Paul Valler, our Chair of Trustees, would be delighted to hear from you. He can be contacted at paul.valler@licc.org.uk
