Job description

We’re on a mission to inspire and equip every Christian in the UK to live as fruitful disciples of Jesus in all of life. Local churches play a vital role in that mission – they are the gathered communities where God’s people are resourced for discipleship out in his world. Over the last 40 years, we’ve built connections with over 5,000 churches, and we’re seeing real change. But there’s still so much to do if we want to see the whole UK church – and wider society – transformed.

We’re looking for a Church Engagement Specialist to help us foster the church connections we already have and grow new strategic relationships, nurturing lively whole-life disciplemaking communities right across the country.

You’ll be joining our vibrant, highly skilled Church Team, committed to releasing all God’s people into the roles he has for them in daily life. You’ll help us open doors with new churches and church leaders and be excited to invest in the ongoing envisioning of those churches and their leadership, encouraging them along the whole-life disciplemaking journey.

You’ll be theologically trained and a highly effective communicator, with experience of building productive relationships and advocating for a cause. On top of the opportunity to be a key voice in our speaking team, you’ll be able to use your keen digital skills to connect with church leaders online and manage our online teaching resources to ensure we’re communicating powerfully and consistently.

As a highly organised self-motivator and people person, you’ll relish the chance to work as part of the Church Team, ensuring our engagements are as effective and impactful as possible. Above all, you’ll be an enthusiast for our mission* – someone who can translate LICC’s values into every aspect of our work.

If you sense this role might be right for you and have the qualities we’re looking for, please email your application to

Your application should comprise of:

  • A full CV and covering letter outlining your motivation, relevant skills, and experience for the role
