Reimagine Essentials 2022

Module 1: Fri 18 - Sat 19 March

Module 2: Fri 25 - Sat 26 March

Online Event

Do you want to understand the culture you’re in, perceiving national and global forces and seeing how they play out in your day-to-day life?

Do you long to see God at work in the whole of your life, whether in your workplace, on your street, or in your friendship group?

Do you want to be equipped to live out a simple faith in a complex world?

Then Reimagine is for you.

This in-depth course is designed to help you see your everyday life through God’s eyes, reimagining how you can make a difference for him – among the people you talk, work, and relax with. In the process, you’ll grow the skills and perspectives you need to live counterculturally, as salt and light in a world that often doesn’t know or care about Christian faith.

It’s less about high-level theoretical content, and more about practically understanding your world and the people you meet. Less being told what to do, and more being equipped to improvise faithfully in response to what’s happening around you. Less being given a fish, and more being taught how to fish, living as Jesus would if he were you, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing.

Join the LICC team this March for an inspiring online course that will train you to:

  • Listen to the pressures, needs, and desires of the people you encounter everyday, and appreciate the wider cultural dynamics shaping your context
  • Imagine what God might want to do in the places you find yourself
  • Create a new kingdom-orientated way of living in the organisations you’re in, the conversations you have, and alongside the people you’re with, sustained over the long term by spiritual practices
  • Communicate the good news of the gospel in a way that’s attractive and meaningful to those around you

Don’t just take our word for it…

‘Two days dedicated to re-thinking my workplace as my ministry, digging deep into Scripture to explore how God has always been present in our frontlines throughout the ages. Two days to worship, to share, to pray, and to be re-commissioned. Reimagine is for everyone. Join in!’

Marion, 2019 attendee

The Reimagine programme

Reimagine combines inspiring teaching, workshops, discussions, practical exercises, and reflections to develop your skills in biblical, cultural, and spiritual engagement – all for your own frontline context.

With space to reflect on and apply what you’re learning as you go, Reimagine will equip you to join in with God’s purposes right where you are.

The programme includes sessions on:

  • The cultural forces shaping the UK today
  • Biblical foundations for a whole-life gospel
  • Diagnosing and responding to the culture in your own context
  • Developing spiritual practices to sustain countercultural living
  • Practical skill-based exercises around shopping and story-telling
  • And so much more…

Who is it for?

Reimagine is for people who want to live missionally in the contexts God has placed them, and take responsibility for their growth as a disciple.

You might be discovering God’s purposes in your place of work, or seeking to shape the culture of your street. You could be in a friendship group that shares hobbies or life stage, or rethinking how you engage with your fellow students.

Whatever your context, you sense there’s joy in living fruitfully for Christ right where you are, and you want to grow more like him for the sake of the people around you.
