Make discipleship a way of life for all your people – all the time.

What church leader hasn’t worried whether the Sunday sermon will have any impact on people’s Monday morning?

We all want our congregations to live impactfully for Jesus out in his world. So how do we help them join the dots between the gospel and the detail of their ordinary days, joining in his mission right where they are?

We don’t have to suddenly change everything we do – just approach it with a different perspective. By developing a whole-life disciplemaking culture in your church, you can foster an environment where discipleship isn’t confined to Sunday services, but becomes a way of life for every Christian, every day.

At this morning workshop for leadership teams, Steve Rouse, LICC’s Church Team Director, will unpack the vision and practical steps you need to grow a whole-life disciplemaking culture in your church. Speaking from decades of experience both at LICC and leading a church in Balham, he’ll help you identify practical next steps for your particular context.

This three-hour session is applicable for all those involved in church leadership and will:

  • Explore the biblical vision for whole-life disciplemaking
  • Share the joys and challenges of trying to change church culture
  • Introduce steps you can take to start the journey
  • Discover how to measure the vital signs of whole-life disciplemaking over time
